The Simco-Ion Model 5842 is an advanced development of the 5810i blower and delivers top-tier, balanced ionization performance in cleanroom environments. It is available in three versions: as a standalone unit, with an integrated NOVX feedback system, or for connection to an external NOVX system for enhanced reporting capabilities. The model is ISO 14644-1 Class 3 certified and tested for particle emission. Utilizing proven Steady-State DC technology, the 5842 provides a reliable solution for eliminating ESD effects and EMI (electromagnetic interference) in high-tech environments. The device ensures highly precise discharge with a balance of ±3 V or better, and ±1 V when used with the NOVX Inside or NOVX system versions, adapting ion output to environmental conditions for maximum performance. The Model 5842 features a built-in auto-cleaning mechanism for each fan unit, continuously cleaning the emitter points to maintain consistent performance with minimal maintenance. System flexibility is enhanced with options for 2, 3, or 4 fans and four fan speed settings (high, medium-high, medium-low, low), allowing adaptation to different process areas and room sizes. The 5842 is ideal for environments where rapid and precise discharge close to ±0 V is required, such as in process areas with stringent ESD control requirements.
