Aerostat® XC2

The Aerostat XC2 ionizing blower is ideal for the rapid and safe neutralization of electrostatic charges over large surfaces. With a discharge time of less than 12 seconds at a distance of 1.8 meters from the front of the blower, it provides efficient ESD control. The device’s light weight allows for easy mounting above the work surface, which is especially advantageous during flat-panel assembly or when handling sensitive electronic components. The Aerostat XC2 is well-suited for use in ISO Class 6 cleanrooms and offers a reliable solution for neutralizing static charges in a variety of environments, including microchip or display production. The blower operates with alternating current (AC), ensuring a stable ion output and excellent balance. The optional air-flow heating and three-speed fan control provide flexible adjustment to different requirements. The device is equipped with SIMCO’s patented emitter cleaner, ensuring consistent performance, and enables surface neutralization over approximately 90 x 180 cm. Even at a distance of 2 meters, the discharge time is less than 15 seconds, making the Aerostat XC2 an efficient solution for larger work areas where overhead blowers cannot be installed. The balance of less than ±10 V ensures the device can be reliably used in the production of sensitive electronic components. The Aerostat XC2 is highly user-friendly and can be mounted directly over surfaces or on a wall.
