PMT® BAS-PRO - BioAerosol Sampler Professional
The BAS-Pro Bioaerosol Sampler is a high-performance, multi-flow microbial air sampling system designed for critical cleanroom environments in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries. Engineered to comply with ISO 14698-1 and EU GMP Annex 1, it delivers highly accurate and reliable airborne contamination monitoring for controlled production areas. Featuring selectable flow rates of 28.3, 100, and 200 LPM, the BAS-Pro offers exceptional flexibility to meet different sampling requirements. Its impaction-based sampling technology ensures efficient microbial collection onto standard agar media while minimizing particle overlap for improved accuracy and reproducibility. Equipped with a high-precision mass flow controller, the system automatically adjusts airflow in real time to maintain optimal sampling performance under varying conditions. The built-in HEPA-filtered exhaust prevents cross-contamination and protects both the environment and the operator. The BAS-Pro is designed for advanced usability with a large touchscreen interface, programmable sampling schemes, and support for continuous, cyclic, and remote sampling modes. It also features extensive data storage capacity, audit trail functionality, and secure data export, ensuring full traceability and compliance with regulatory standards. Constructed from durable 316L stainless steel, the device is resistant to disinfectants and suitable for demanding cleanroom operations. Its lightweight and portable design allows easy deployment across multiple critical control points. Ideal for aseptic manufacturing, isolator monitoring, and environmental surveillance programs, the BAS-Pro enhances contamination control strategies, improves process reliability, and supports consistent regulatory compliance in GMP-regulated industries. Third party validated to meet the requirements of ISO 14698-1 for microbial contamination control in cleanrooms and BS EN 17141 for Physical and Biological Efficiency.
