The Remote BAMS (Bioaerosol Monitoring System) is an advanced real-time airborne microbial monitoring solution designed for continuous environmental surveillance in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and cleanroom applications. It enables highly accurate detection of bioaerosols directly at the sampling point, ensuring immediate awareness of contamination events without the need for incubation or traditional culture-based methods.Engineered for flexible deployment, the Remote BAMS can operate either via a central vacuum pump system or an independent external blower unit, making it suitable for both fixed installations and distributed monitoring networks. Its external gel membrane collection system ensures efficient capture of airborne microorganisms while maintaining sample integrity. With a standard flow rate of 2.83 LPM, the system provides stable and reproducible sampling performance. The isokinetic probe design optimizes particle collection efficiency, while compatibility with multiple sampling configurations enhances versatility across different controlled environments.The Remote BAMS supports seamless integration into existing contamination control strategies (CCS), offering real-time data for rapid decision-making and process optimization. The Remote BAMS met or exceeded all the acceptance criteria as outlined in USP <1223> for accuracy, precision, linearity, specificity, LOD, LOQ, range, ruggedness, and robustness – so is an accepted alternative method for Microbial Environmental Monitoring in a Grade A area.
