PMT® Remote BAS
The Remote BioAerosol Sampling System (Remote BAS) is a high-performance solution designed for continuous microbial air monitoring in pharmaceutical cleanrooms, biotechnology facilities, and other controlled environments. Engineered for integration into advanced contamination control strategies, it enables real-time or remote detection of airborne viable particles, supporting compliance with strict regulatory standards such as ISO 14698-1 and EU GMP Annex 1. Built on proven impaction sampling technology, the Remote BAS delivers precise and stable airflow control at selectable flow rates, ensuring accurate and reproducible microbial sampling. Its flexible configuration allows operation with or without an integrated blower, making it suitable for both standalone use and centralized vacuum systems. Designed for seamless integration into modern monitoring infrastructures, the system supports remote operation and connection with centralized environmental monitoring software. This enables real-time data acquisition, trend analysis, and immediate response to contamination events, improving product safety and process reliability. The Remote BAS is engineered for demanding cleanroom applications, offering robust performance, high sampling accuracy, and compatibility with automated monitoring networks. Its compact and adaptable design allows installation close to critical process points, reducing risk and improving sampling representativeness. Ideal for aseptic manufacturing, isolator monitoring, and Grade A/B environments, the Remote BAS enhances contamination control strategies by enabling continuous, reliable, and traceable microbial air sampling across production lines. Third party validated to meet the requirements of ISO 14698-1 for microbial contamination control in cleanrooms and BS EN 17141 for Physical and Biological Efficiency.
