PMT® 8506
The PMT 8506 Handheld Particle Counter is a portable precision instrument for measuring airborne particle concentrations from 0.5 to 25.0 μm at a constant flow rate of 0.1 CFM (2.83 LPM). This reliable device is ideal for monitoring air cleanliness in controlled environments such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and production areas with stringent particle control requirements. The user-friendly instrument allows selection of up to six particle size channels while simultaneously recording environmental parameters such as temperature and relative humidity, providing comprehensive data for detailed air quality analysis. The PMT 8506 supports report generation in accordance with ISO 14644-1, EU GMP Annex 1, and FS 209E. Reports can be displayed directly on the integrated screen, printed, saved to a USB drive, or exported via data download software for long-term documentation and traceability. Remote operation and monitoring via a web browser enable seamless integration into existing quality assurance and environmental monitoring systems. The instrument also includes a mass concentration mode to estimate particle density in μg/m³, offering additional insights into airborne contamination. Like all PMT particle counters, the 8506 complies with ISO 21501-4 and JIS B9921 calibration standards, ensuring high measurement accuracy and reliability. An integrated pulse height analyzer provides precise, regulation-compliant measurements, making the PMT 8506 a dependable tool for professional applications where accuracy, compliance, and robust performance are critical.
