PMT® 8506-30
The PMT 8506-30 Handheld Particle Counter is a portable instrument for reliable detection of airborne particles ranging from 0.5 to 75 μm at a constant flow rate of 0.1 CFM (2.83 LPM). The device is designed for applications requiring precise air cleanliness monitoring, particularly in controlled environments such as cleanrooms and production areas. The user-friendly instrument can display up to six user-selectable particle size channels while simultaneously recording environmental parameters including temperature and relative humidity. Measurement data can be viewed directly on the display or exported in real time via a printer, USB drive, or data download software. Reports can be generated in accordance with ISO 14644-1, EU GMP Annex 1, or FS 209E. The PMT 8506-30 supports remote operation and monitoring via a web browser and features a mass concentration mode that approximates particle density in μg/m³, enabling enhanced air quality analysis. The particle counter complies with international calibration standards ISO 21501-4 and JIS B9921. An integrated pulse height analyzer ensures regulation-compliant measurements, guaranteeing adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.
