PMT® BAMS Robot - SM110

The BioAerosol Monitoring System Robot (BAMS Robot) enables automated real-time monitoring of biological and inert airborne particles without the use of reagents. The device can identify microorganisms containing metabolites that fluoresce when exposed to specific laser wavelengths, including NADPH and riboflavin. It counts both total and biological particles in a size range of 0.5 µm to 10 µm. The BAMS Robot uses SLAM algorithms and LiDAR technology to ensure precise navigation and obstacle avoidance. It can autonomously follow predefined sampling locations and movement paths within a facility, determining whether fully autonomous operation is required. The robot is capable of navigating assigned areas, automatically opening and closing doors, using elevators independently, and returning to its charging station when the battery is low. The system also provides fully automated environmental sampling with an intelligent charging system that includes a wireless charging station. The BAMS Robot allows scheduling of multiple tasks and unattended operation, ensuring continuous real-time monitoring of airborne microbes. No incubation is required, and the system delivers immediate results. Additionally, the BAMS Robot can be connected to various sampling modules to further enhance flexibility and efficiency in sample collection.
