KS-42A (F) Particle Counter
The KS-42A(F) light-scattering particle counter is designed for the counting and sizing of particles in liquids within the 0.1 µm to 0.5 µm range. Depending on the model, parts in contact with the sample are made from quartz, sapphire, or PFA, allowing the instrument to handle highly aggressive chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, ammonium hydroxide, and hydrogen peroxide. When connected to the KE-40B1 controller, the KS-42AF can form a complete particle counting system for liquid media, featuring five standard particle size channels (≥0.1 µm, ≥0.15 µm, ≥0.2 µm, ≥0.3 µm, ≥0.5 µm), with up to 10 channels fully configurable to meet specific analytical requirements.The KS-42A(F) includes an integrated leak sensor that triggers an alarm if a leak is detected, enhancing operator safety during chemical measurements. The system can be combined with a flow controller or sampler, enabling its use for continuous monitoring as well as laboratory batch testing. Its versatile design and precise measurement capabilities make the KS-42A(F) an ideal solution for particle analysis in aggressive chemical environments, supporting both process monitoring and quality assurance in highly controlled industrial and research applications.
