KS-42B (F) Particle Counter
The KS-42B(F) light-scattering particle counter is designed for counting and sizing particles in liquids within the 0.2 µm to 2 µm range. Depending on the model version, sample-contacting components are made from quartz, sapphire, or PFA, allowing the instrument to handle highly aggressive chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, ammonium hydroxide, and hydrogen peroxide. When connected to the KE-40B1 controller, the KS-42B(F) can form a complete particle counting system for liquid media, featuring five standard particle size channels (≥0.2 µm, ≥0.3 µm, ≥0.5 µm, ≥1 µm, ≥2 µm), with up to 10 channels fully configurable for specific analytical requirements. The KS-42B(F) includes an integrated leak sensor that triggers an alarm if a leak is detected, enhancing operator safety during chemical measurements. By integrating with a flow controller or sampler, the device can be used for both continuous monitoring and laboratory batch testing. Its precise particle sizing, robust design, and chemical resistance make the KS-42B(F) an ideal solution for particle monitoring in aggressive chemical environments, supporting process control, quality assurance, and research applications in industrial and laboratory settings.
