KS-42C Particle Counter
The KS-42C light-scattering particle counter is designed for counting and sizing particles in liquids within the 0.5 µm to 20 µm range. Sample-contacting components are constructed from quartz and PFA. Unlike the KS-42A and KS-42B models, the KS-42C is not available with a sapphire measurement cell. When connected to the KE-40B1 controller, the KS-42C can form a complete particle counting system for liquid media, featuring seven standard particle size channels (≥0.5 µm, ≥1 µm, ≥2 µm, ≥3 µm, ≥5 µm, ≥10 µm, ≥20 µm), with up to 10 fully configurable channels to meet specific analytical needs.The KS-42C includes an integrated leak sensor that triggers an alarm if a leak is detected, providing enhanced operator safety during chemical measurements. By connecting the system to a flow controller or sampler, the device can be used for both continuous monitoring and laboratory batch testing. Its robust construction, broad measurement range, and precise particle detection make the KS-42C an ideal solution for particle monitoring in demanding chemical and pharmaceutical environments, supporting process control, quality assurance, and laboratory applications.
